While serving in the Marines, Robert “Bobby” Plagmann dealt with addiction of all forms: (drugs, alcohol) while going through a divorce and working on the front lines of conflict. But it came to a halt when, one day, it all seemed too much and he attempted to take his own life. Ordered to a rehabilitation program, Bobby discovered both yoga and writing as ways to calm his mind and face symptoms of PTSD.
Craving more of what writing and yoga had to offer, Bobby spent months in northern India studying yoga in the Himalayas and becoming a certified yoga instructor. And last year, he converted a U-Haul into a tiny house. He now lives on a farm in Dolphin, Virginia, with his dog, Baagh.
